Who is the next Conductor and Music Director of the NGSO? Well, you will need to attend the NGSO fundraising dinner to be the first to find out.
Join us for - A Symphony of Flavor, our annual five-course gourmet dinner with drink pairings including silent and live auctions! Live music will be provided by members of the Newark-Granville Youth Symphony and The Peter Larson Jazz Quintet.
All proceeds support the NGSO, Youth Orchestras, The Overture Project, and Educational Outreach Programs.
We are thrilled to have NGSO patron and Board Member, Jeanetta Pyle offering a $25,000 matching gift to the NGSO. That means every dollar you give becomes two. A donation of $150 becomes $300! And this challenge begins today.
Why Should You Give?
Our community is proud of the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. But a professional symphony orchestra cannot survive on warm wishes alone - it takes a meaningful investment on the part of our community to enable the quality of orchestral performances and educational programs that we have come to expect from the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. Ticket sales cover only a small percentage of the real costs of maintaining the orchestra. Therefore, we rely on contributions from corporations, foundations and individuals - like you, to make up the balance.
Your support keeps the NGSO alive, including programs such as Music in the Schools, the NGSO Youth Symphony and Chamber Strings, and The Overture Project.
Please take advantage of this amazing opportunity and know your gift is 100% tax deductable. We look forward to hearing from you.
